K Chandrasekhar Rao and PM Modi are liars, says RC Khuntia
Hyderabad: AICC general secretary and TS Congress affairs incharge R.C. Khuntia said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao were busy ditching each other.
Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday at Gandhi Bhavan, Mr Khuntia said that Mr Modi had called Mr Rao as a believer of astrology and fortune telling. Mr Rao had in turn criticised Mr Modi for utilising the surgical strikes for political benefit.
He said Mr Rao had also claimed that he is was solution for the problems being faced by the country. “Modi and KCR are both lying and the only choice before the country is electing the Congress to power," Mr Khuntia said.
He said the minimum income guarantee scheme proposed by Congress president Rahul Gandhi would ensure an income of Rs 72,000 for economically backward families and eliminate poverty in the country.
AICC secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao said that the Federal Front proposed by Mr Rao had failed and Mr Gandhi will be the next Prime Minister.
He said, “KCR thinks that the elections are Ramzan, Christmas and Dasara festivals and people will come for his biryani and sarees/ But it is not that season and KCR should think about it.” He said that former minister T. Harish Rao, who fought for Telangana statehood from the beginning ,was being sidelined by Mr Chandrasekhar Rao out of love for his son K.T. Rama Rao who was not in the moment.
