PM Modi to address public meeting at Guntur
Vijayawada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tour Andhra Pradesh for two days on February 10 and 16. BJP AP president Kanna Lakshmi-Narayana, addressing a press meet at Vijayawada, said that Mr Modi would address the public meeting at Guntur on February 10 and would visit Visakhapatnam on February 16.
He said that BJP national president Amit Shah would also visit AP on February 4, 21 and 26. He said that Mr Shah would visit Viziana-garam on February 4, Rajahmundry on February 21 and Ongole on February 26.
He refuted the claims of AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu about bringing Kia motors to AP. He alleged that Kia Motors showed reluctance to start its plant in AP due to “high corruption and illegalities” by Mr Naidu and minister for IT N. Lokesh but later the company agreed to start the plant with the interference of PM Modi.
He stated that during his foreign tour, PM Modi had asked Kia to start their plant in AP State under the “Make in India” scheme. He said that Mr Lokesh had admitted about getting Kia Motors with the efforts of BJP government led by Mr Modi and showed the press clippings of Mr Lokesh testifying to that.
He claimed that the BJP government sanctioned Rs 10,00,000 crore worth projects for AP state. He said that Union minister Nitin Gadkari had stated about the ongoing works of Rs 3,000 crore worth by his department and had even challenged the TD government to conduct a social audit with a third party.
