Kurnool: TD ticket aspirants from Kadapa district had a nightmarish experience in the skies as the plane in which they were travelling to Amaravati, hit airpockets, wobbled menacingly leaving them praying for their lives. Pattipati Kusuma Kumari, who boarded the flight at Tirupati airport around 7 pm, said the plane soared into the skies and within no time because of the fog formation and the deep darkness caused jitters.
In a separate flight, former minister Pasupuleti Bramhayya,and Balineni Hari Prasad left from Kadapa airport to Amaravati in the afternoon on Monday. Panic hit at the strange and rickety sounds in the plane, so much so they almost lost hopes of landing, they said after landing at Amaravati. Though the flight crew tried to calm them saying it was normal during the rough weather rides, the leaders were trembling.
Altitude adjustments and the rain and thunder outside made these TD leaders panic at a height of 25,000 feet. Never again air travel, they vowed after landing.
