Modi showing discrimination to AP: Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that the Nation got into a confusion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule.
“We are facing unemployment issue and the Opposition has been building against governance and Modi failure,” he said.
Talking to TD leaders at a tele-conference, he said that there is extreme Opposition to the BJP among the people.
“China Global Times articles is proof of Modi’s failure. All this should be debated among the people. Modi shows discrimination on AP even in disaster support. Yesterday’s NDRF funds are an example for that. '4,717 crore were given to Maharashtra and only '900 crore were given to AP. Centre didn’t even care about the 347 severe draught mandals in AP. We lost thousands of crores in the form of agri and infrastructure because of Titli Cyclone and Pethai cyclone. But the Centre did not give even a single penny for immediate measure,” he said.
At every step, the BJP is showing discrimination against AP. If the BJP is defeated, then justice will be done to AP, the CM reminded.
As elections are approaching, Mr Naidu guided the party cadre that they should stay alert on these 60 days. “February 1 is the Black Day of the Union Budget. It was the day we got cheated for five budgets. We will be doing protests with black badges and black flags. Our protest should happen in a peaceful way. There should be no protests to damage the state’s revenue.”
Assembly elections’ majority is standard for confirmation of posts. Those who gets more majority will decide their posts. Everyone should work with competitiveness as one who works hard will be recognised. We are in an inspiring time. Our development and welfare should be permanent. All this will continue if the TD comes to power again. It should be taken to the people,” Naidu said.
