Nakrekal MLA denies congress' murder claims

He challenged the Congress leaders to prove their charge as he is ready to face any probe, the TRS MLA told media in Nalgonda on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: Denying allegations made by Congress leaders saying that he was involved in the murder of Congress leader Boddupalli Srinivas, Nakrekal TRS MLA Vemula Veeresham said that it must be the handiwork of a senior Congress MLA as he and his brother Rajgopal Reddy are known for encouraging ‘murder politics’ in Nalgonda districts for decades.

He challenged the Congress leaders to prove their charge as he is ready to face any probe, the TRS MLA told media in Nalgonda on Tuesday. He said after shunning the Naxalite movement and becoming an MLA in 2014, he has been totally against the culture of murder politics and has had nothing to do with any such incident during the last 3.5 years.

He added that the history of Komatireddy brothers is known in the entire district, as his brother Rajgopal Reddy gave B Forms to known criminals and associates of gangster Nayeemuddin, who was killed in an encounter.

He said not only the deceased Boddupalli Srinivas but even the prime accused in the case are all associates of Komatir-eddy Venkata Reddy. He said he was prepared to give details of his cellph-one call list to anyone, as he knew he did not make or receive any calls from Srinivas during the last three-and-a-half years.
