Hyderabad: Congress working president A. Revanth Reddy said there is threat to his life alleging that the police in mufti are trying to attack him. He said that the plan of action is being prepared by DGP Mahender Reddy and IG Prabhakar Rao.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Begumpet airport on Thursday, Mr Reddy said that, “Though the High Court has ordered the election commission to provide security for me the TRS leaders are following through.”
He has also alleged that TRS leader, P. Narendra Reddy, who was caught with Rs 50 lakh was let off by the IT officials due to the pressure from the Prime Minister’s office.
Speaking on governance, he challenged Caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for an open discussion on free power supply to farm sector. e said that the credit on free power supply to farmers goes to congress party only.
He said in the past power production was less and demand was more, but now due to the party, production is more and demand is less.
