NELLORE: Reacting to the outcry over his objectionable utterances against ruling party leaders, during a debate in a TV channel, after the attack on YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy in Visakapatnam, Nellore City legislator Dr P. Anilkumar Yadav tendered an apology to the TD leaders here on Monday.
He said that it was an emotional outburst because of worry over the safety of Jagan and he did not mean whatever he spoke at that point of time. However, the apology is not meant for the TD leaders blaming YSR Congress party for the incident.
Meanwhile, TD leaders led by senior corporators Nune Mallikarjun Yadav, Sathya Nageswar Rao and Dharmavarapu Subba Rao came down heavily against Dr Anilkumar Yadav during a protest at Gandhi Statue Centre here on Monday.
They said he should not taint the position given to him by the electorate at a young age.
