Hyderabad: The Prajakutami or grand alliance of opposition parties seems to be rattling the Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
In the process, they even tried to woo Seemandhra people in Hyderabad and Telangana, saying that they are not against them but only fighting against Seemandhra rulers who are hatching conspiracies to rule Telangana again in the name of the Prajakutami.
Mr K.T. Rama Rao has started addressing meetings in constituencies in the city where there is a considerable Seemandhra population, such as Kukatpally, Sherilingam-pally, Qutbullapur and Jubilee Hills. “As KCR’s son, I am giving assurance that I will safeguard Seemandhra people residing in Hyderabad. I will take the responsibility of your safety and security. We are not against Seemandhra people residing here. We are only fighting against Seemandhra leaders, who are conspiring against Telangana,” he said.
Ms K. Kavitha, at a meeting in Jagityal, said, “The TD has no Telangana sentiment and the Congress has no commitment for Telangana. Only the TRS has this sentiment and commitment. It is time Telangana people chose between self pride and slavery.”
In Telangana Bhavan, Harish Rao said, “If the Prajakutami wins, Kaleshwaram and Pola-varam projects will be stopped. Telangana will not get its due share in Krishna and Godavari because Chandrababu will be keen on his state’s interests as Andhra’s Chief Minister."
