Anantapur: TD AP unit president K. Atchannaidu said leaders of Telugu Desam and Jana Sena will meet on Saturday at the district headquarters of Nandyal, where former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had been arrested in a function hall two weeks ago.
Atchannaidu, accompanied by Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and several others reached Kadapa airport on Friday for proceeding to Nandyal, where they will hold their Political Action Committee meeting. Jana Sena leaders will also participate in the meeting.
The meeting will discuss action strategies to counter attacks by Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government on opposition parties, whose leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu, are being arrested under false cases.
Atchannaidu observed that Chandrababu Naidu had been arrested without providing any evidence of funds diversion or alleged shell companies. “Our joint committee of Jana Sena and TD will chalk out an action plan to counter Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he stated.
