Siddaramaiah blamed for growth of PFI

Union minister Shobha Karandlaje asks the Cong leader to visit RSS shakhas

Udupi: Taking strong objection to Siddaramaiah’s demand for banning RSS, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje blamed him for the growth of PFI in Karnataka.

“Congress banned RSS alleging involvement in Mahatma Gandhi assignation and also arrested the leaders during the emergency only to be castigated by the Supreme Court and the people. I would like to ask Congress what is the charge against RSS. In which anti-national or anti-social activity are they involved? Instead of sitting at home and making allegations against RSS, they should go to the Shakhas and study the activities of RSS. The Sangh is involved in activities serving the country,” Shobha told reporters in Udupi.

“Congress has lost its mind. It is a boat without a captain. They are making such statements for their survival,” she said.

She then blamed Siddaramaiah for the growth of PFI in Karnataka.

“Siddaramaiah, during his term as the Chief Minister had withdrawn the cases against PFI for vote bank politics. Due to this Karnataka became the financial hub of PFI activities. Congress should question themselves. Their leaders have no right to question RSS,” she said.

She mocked the ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra of Rahul Gandhi.

“Congress was responsible for the partition of India. Pak-occupied Kashmir was formed when Congress was in power. They had leased out strategically placed Tin Bhiga. Rahul Gandhi should hold Bharat Jodo there and not here,” she added.
