Thiruvananthapuram; KPCC will hold a protest march to Raj Bhavan on September 7 against the anti-people policies of the Central government. In a statement made in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday, KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran alleged that the BJP government at the central was resorting to policies that would gradually destroy the panchayat raj system.
He added that it was the dream project of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and the efforts to destroy it were deplorable. "The Modi government is trying to lessen its prominence and to reduce it to a small section under rural development project," Mr. Sudheeran said. He added that the protest march would also highlight atrocities against Dalits.
