Jose has to decide on reconciliation: P J Joseph

Mr Joseph said that the Jose K Mani faction does not even have 10 percent of the party cadres.

KOTTAYAM: Kerala Congress(M) working chairman P.J. Joseph on Saturday said that it is up to Jose K Mani to decide whether a reconciliation is possible in the party.

He alleged that it was Jose who unilaterally dismissed compromise talks and elected himself the party chairman. "The main dispute between us was the election of the chairman which they did unilaterally.

Though we approached for compromise talks on various occasions they were not willing", Mr Joseph told DC.

Mr Joseph said that the Jose K Mani faction does not even have 10 percent of the party cadres.

Mr Joseph's reaction is in the context of Jose K Mani approaching the Thodupuzha munsif court to consider their case immediately. The munsif court at Thodupuzha had issued an injection order stopping Mr Jose from discharging his functions as the party chairman.
