Telangana BJP to list out TRS' misses

He alleged that the purification of land records also has many mistakes.

Hyderabad: The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up to face the next election. It has chalked out several programmes to reach out to people and has prepared a chargesheet on the failures of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government.

The president of the party’s Telangana unit, K. Laxman, speaking to media on Tuesday, said that the two-day state executive committee meetings were successful, and now the party is preparing for the panchayat elections likely to be held in July 2018.

He said as part of Mission Sampark Abhiyan from May 26 to June 11 across the state, 400 state leaders will meet about 10,000 people and prepare a report on implementation of various schemes.

He said that these 400 leaders will visit Dalit wadas and slept there at night. In the assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies where Dalits are in a majority Dalit adalats and Girijana Garjana meetings will be conducted.

From June 2018 to March 2019 the party will conduct a Parivarthana Yatra. Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will visit Hyderabad on May 31 and meet with intellectuals to discuss the four-year rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr Laxman said without consulting other political parties and sections, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has taken a decision on the zoning system for employment.

He alleged that the purification of land records also has many mistakes. He said the TRS and the Congress parties are twins when it comes to promoting family politics and that the people are not ready to believe the TRS and Telugu Desam in the two Telugu states.

Mr Laxman said that after BJP national president Amit Shah’s visit in the state the state BJP leaders will tour all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies.

He said the party’s Telangana unit will prepare a road map for coming to power in the state in the 2019 elections and conduct public meetings and Dalit adalats.
