Speak after checking facts: Chandrababu Naidu to Amit Shah
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu warned BJP president Amit Shah once again asking him to speak only after knowing the facts. “Mr Shah, you are trying to pour mud on us for no reason. Why should we pay taxes to the Union government when you are not cooperating on our capital city?” he questioned. “Don’t you see any difference between the earlier Vijayawada and present Vijayawada city?”
“The Centre can’t play any more with AP. We even gave '10 crore to Kanaka Durga flyover contractor, when he was facing funds crunch,” Mr Naidu said.
Just before Mr Naidu concluded his speech a farmer Paturu Gopala Krishna offered his gold ring as a contribution for building the new capital city. This gave Mr Naidu the opportunity to appeal to the public at large to come forward to build Amaravati by selling their properties and assets.
