Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday appointed chairmen for eight more corporations. Party leaders and student leaders who played key role in Telangana movement were given preference.
Former Gajwel MLA Tumukunta Narsa Reddy, former Rajya Sabha member Gundu Sudharani, Madupu Bhoom Reddy, Gandhi Naik, Pushkar Rammohan Rao, Kakatiya university student leader K.Vasudev Reddy, former MLA Prem Singh Rathod and OU student leader Chirumilla Rakesh Kumar were among the appointees. Mr Rao also made appointments to party posts.
