Hyderabad: All surveys indicate that the BJP will come to power in Telangana in the upcoming Assembly elections, stated BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who also claimed that the new Secretariat building was built to please AIMIM president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
"CM built the Secretariat building in the style of the Taj Mahal. BRS leaders are contending that tombs are mirrored in the Gujarat Secretariat, but they should be aware that Gujarat culture is also reflected in the building," Sanjay stated. "I will enter the Secretariat only after changes are made in accordance with Telangana culture," he remarked.
Sanjay, who took part in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 100th episode of the radio show Mann ki Baat with party leaders, claimed that people were seeking a qualitative, democratic leadership change in the state because they were tired of the KCR’s autocratic family rule. While stating that the party will go it alone, Sanjay claimed that the BRS and Congress will form an unholy alliance in the upcoming elections.
"People in Telangana want a change in leadership, and the BJP has emerged as a viable alternative to the BRS. PM Narendra Modi worked hard for the country, but Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao led a luxurious life and spent time in his farmhouse. CM was unconcerned about the deaths of innocent children due to dog bites or drowning in nalas. KCR is attempting to silence the media's voice, but he will be forgotten in the annals of history. On the other hand, the PM through Mann Ki Baat instilled confidence in people, students, and youths, and he never used it for political mileage,” he remarked..
Sanjay, who also attended a Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) meeting in Kachiguda on Sunday, stated that the BJP will extend complete support to the RTC employees. Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao was attempting to strategically sell RTC's 1.5 lakh crore assets, he alleged while assuring that the BJP will accord a separate budget for the RTC, if voted to power.
