Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday made interesting remarks on his prospective Federal Front during a media interaction in Chennai after his meeting with DMK leaders.
“We are only trying for betterment of the country, its economy and better opportunities for the youth of this country. Don't make this political, This is not a mere political front,” Mr Rao said.
Asked whether he would meet AP CM Mr Naidu, Mr Rao replied, "Certainly, why not? Chandrababu and myself are very good friends, colleagues. We worked for so many years together."
At one point, Mr Rao denied setting up a Third Front. “We have not proposed any Third, Fourth of Fifth Front. The so called front is a creation by media. Our Front is not a mere alignment of political parties. It is alignment of the people of India, farmers, unemployed youth etc. We will discuss further. We are not in a hurry.”
He added, "Nothing in haste. We are discussing. We will continue to discuss. After attaining consensus, we will let you know about all the things on our Front.”
