Hyderabad: Officials from Abids police station have started an inquiry into an incident in which bike-borne miscreants defaced the main gate of the state BJP headquarters at Nampally with black paint ink, two days back. Police suspect the miscreants belong to anti-BJP outfits.
CCTV footage showed two persons on a bike without a number plate stopping at the BJP office and defacing the gate with black paint and fleeing from the spot immediately.
Swinging into action on a complaint from the BJP office staff, police started a probe. Abids inspector B. Prasad Rao said they were hunting for the two miscreants based on technical clues.
