Kakinada: Jaggampeta MLA has tendered his resignation from all party positions in YSR Congress Party, except MLA. He sent his resignation letter to YSRC Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday stating in the letter that he was “unable to follow your (Jagan) thoughts, I tender resign all the party posts such as YSRC East Godavari District President, the party official spokesperson and Member of Political Affairs Committee”. Many of the TD MLAs greeted Jyothula Nehru at Hyderabad on Tuesday for re-joining Telugu Desam Party.
Meanwhile many of the sarpanches, MPTCs and others will join Telugu Desam along with Jyothula Nehru in Jaggampet constituency. However, second rung leaders such as YSRC BC Cell state leader Vommi Raghuram, former Sarpanch of Jaggampet Govinda Reddy and others made it clear that they would continue with Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership’and not join TD along with Nehru.
