VIJAYAWADA: AP state BJP president Mr Kanna Lakshminarayana stated that social media was playing a big part towards bringing awareness among the masses about the corruption of the government. He asked BJP social media wing to work towards awakening the public about BJP services and highlighting the failures of Telugu Desam Government in AP State.
The social media workshop of State BJP was held at Guntur on Wednesday in which BJP MP Mr G.V.L. Narasimha Rao, BJP AP in-charge Mr Sunil Deodhar, BJP State general secretary Mr Suresh Reddy and others participated. Mr Lakshminarayana alleged that mainstream media including print and electronic media in the State was failing to awaken the public about the corruption of the Government and added that social media was emerging as a strong alternative medium in the present scenario.
He claimed that AP State Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu had no guts to contest elections on his own from the beginning and alleged that Mr Naidu was a parasite who used the image of other political parties to win the elections.
Explaining the uses of social media, Mr Lakshinarayana asked BJP leaders and cadres and social media wing to highlight the TD failures to the public through social media. He announced that BJP was launching a house-to-house campaign from December 1 to 16 in AP State and Union minister for tribal development Mr Jual Oram will launch the house-to-house campaign at Srikakulam on December 1.
He said that BJP was committed to the development of AP State despite Telugu Desam leaving NDA. He alleged that AP Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu was a cheater and termed him as a drama artist.
He alleged that Telugu cine actor S Sivaji and Andhra Intellectuals Forum president Chalasani Srinivas were working on the directions of Mr Naidu to defame BJP and further to damage the image of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
MP Mr Narasimha Rao asked BJP cadres to target the winning of 2019 election by campaigning about the BJP's welfare schemes and the cheating of TDP despite getting huge funds from BJP Government.
