Adilabad: After being denied party tickets, aspirants from Congress on Saturday staged a protest against the party’s high command for allotting the ticket to Narayanrao Patel from Mudhole.
NRI Vijaykumar Reddy alleged that the Congress had betrayed him by denying him the ticket. It was the Congress leaders who asked him to come to India to contest in the Assembly elections by promising MLA ticket, he rued.
Vijaykumar’s supporters burnt the party stoles in a protest against the party’s decision in front of the party office in Bhainsa.
Another ticket aspirant Dr Kiran Kumar’s supporters staged a protest wearing black badges against the party's high command decision.
