The IUML will organise a campaign with the support of all secular forces across the country against the anti-minority stance of the NDA government.

Kozhikode: Indian Union Muslim League national general secretary P.K. Kunhalikkutty alleged that the central government is showing up communal card to hide the economic disaster faced by the country.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday after the political affairs committee of the party here, Mr Kunhalikkutty said that by passing various anti-minority laws, the NDA regime is trying to deviate from the tradition of the nation which always supported the minorities.

The IUML will organise a campaign with the support of all secular forces across the country against the anti-minority stance of the NDA government, he said. The slogans would be “’Fearless India’ and ‘India for All’. As the country is on an election mode with various states going to polls soon, the party would enter into alliance with secular political parties, he added.

Addressing the press conference party’s all India secretary E.T. Muhammed Basheer said the people of Kashmir are going through a situation which is more alarming than the ‘Emergency’. “People’s representatives are behind bars and the media has been silenced”, he said.
