Tirupati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced to provide Internet facility for Rs 100 per month with 100 channels free of cost to the TVs which linked up with Fiber Grid.

Addressing a public meeting in V Kota of Chittoor district on Sunday, the CM stated that all the municipalities in the state will have streetlights with LED bulbs which can be operated from Capital Amaravati. He demanded the Centre to fulfil all the assurances made on the floor of Parliament to Andhra Pradesh.

“We are working together with Centre only because of state’s interests,” he clarified. “We have already communicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the assurances made in the Bifurcation Act,” he said.

The CM said that he will not afraid to anyone except the people of the state.
Indirectly referring the comments made by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Sunday in Tirupati public meeting, the CM said, “I am an uncompromising person. I won’t afraid to anyone except the people. The opposition parties have conducted 25 enquiries on me, but not a single allegation on me have been proved. We will continue our fight against Centre for securing Special Category Status for the state.”

As part of district visit on Sunday, he inspected groundnut crop in K Pathur village of V Kota mandal for which the agriculture department has supplied rainguns.

The CM has directed the officials to ensure water supply to the crops where they are being dried up due to failure of monsoon. Later he enquired the agriculture officials on the number of rainguns being supplied to the farmers.

The CM asked the officials to ensure digging up of farm ponds by every farmer in his agricultural land which can be used for cultivation.
