KCR's is a family front: Telangana BJP president Laxman
Hyderabad: Telangana state BJP president K. Laxman on Monday claimed that the front proposed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was a ‘family front’. He said that Mr Rao had failed in fulfilling the promises he had made in 2014.
Speaking to mediapersons on Monday, Dr Laxman alleged that Mr Rao had misused crores of rupees of public money in the last four years and was resorting to vote bank politics.
He said ahead of the 2014 elections, Mr Rao had promised to provide one job to each family in the state. But not one job had been created in the last four years, Dr Laxman said.
He alleged that the TRS and the Congress were promoting family politics. The TRS was supporting the MIM and provoking communal passions.
Dr Laxman said the people had witnessed in Karnataka the politics of the two Telugu Chief Ministers, the Congress and the JD(S). He said when the BJP came to power at the Centre it was in the power in only five states which has now gone up to 22.
He alleged that the TRS was like invalid currency, and the TD a defunct weapon.
He said the BJP was in power in Nagaland where 90 per cent of voters are Christians, and in Jammu and Kashmir where 90 per cent of the population is Muslim.
Dr Laxman said that 4,000 farmers had committed suicide during the TRS rule. He alleged that Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya had been taken up by the TRS government for commissions He said that the Rythu Bandhu Scheme had become landlord bandhu scheme.
