Bandi, Laxman lash out at CM for allowing 'killer' Anand Mohan to visit TS

HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay and the party OBC Morcha chairman Dr K. Laxman lashed out at Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for remaining silent on the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar releasing
Anand Mohan Singh, who was convicted in the murder of Telangana-native IAS officer G. Krishnaiah, a Dalit, in 1994.

In a media statement on Friday, Sanjay expressed anger over the reports that Mohan was coming to Hyderabad to meet the family of Krishnaiah. "It's shameful that the Nitish government released Anand Mohan before he completed his jail sentence. Why did KCR maintain silence on this issue? Why did KCR not lodge his protest with the Bihar government on this issue? Why KCR is allowing a murderer who killed Telangana native IAS officer to step into Telangana? KCR owes an explanation to people on this."

He asked why BRS leaders who raised a hue and cry when gangster Atiq Ahmed was shot dead in Uttar Pradesh recently are keeping mum on the Anand Mohan issue.

"It shows that KCR is supporting the premature release of Anand Mohan. We suspect that he was released only after an agreement was reached between KCR and Nitish. I urge Telangana people to understand the friendship between KCR and Nitish. BJP will not allow Anand Mohan to arrive in Hyderabad under any circumstances. The BRS government should not allow Anand Mohan to step into Telangana. If not, the government has to face severe consequences," Sanjay warned.

In a media statement, Dr Laxman alleged that the thought process of KCR and Nitish Kumar were the same. "Anand Mohan is coming to Hyderabad and yet KCR is maintaining a silence. It's shameful that KCR chose to keep mum instead of denying permission to Anand Mohan. BJP workers will resist Anand Mohan's
entry."
