Bandi: Plenary exposes empty claims of TRS
HYDERABAD: The TRS plenary on Wednesday once again exposed the fact that the ruling party has nothing to show for its rule, said BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
He told reporters on Thursday that normally during any plenary, parties discuss what they have done for the people, and review implementation of schemes and take stock of problems faced and what more they could do for the betterment of the people.
“But in the case of TRS, there were no such discussions. This shows that the ruling party has nothing to showcase in its support,” he said in Utkoor, during a stop-over from his Praja Sangrama Yatra.
He said the TRS plenary revolved around Prime Minister Narendra Modi and targeting the Centre. His padayatra and the response from the people were beginning to worry the TRS leadership, he said.
Sanjay ridiculed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s announcement of preparing an alternative development agenda for the country.
Sanjay said “after repeatedly claiming that Telangana was a rich state, he burdened the state with Rs 4 lakh crore loans, averaging a burden of Rs 1 lakh on every individual in the state.
