TRS gala fails to impress Opposition
Hyderabad: The Opposition on Friday took a dig at TRS mega rally in Warangal saying the meeting was aimed to divert atte-ntion from growing anger of people over failed promises.
Telugu Desam working president A. Revanth Reddy said that so lacklustre was the response that people did not even clap despite repeated attempts by the CM to get them to do so.
“KCR reeled out old story of power, sheep and fish. There was nothing new in the whole meeting barring self-praise,” he said.
Telangana BJP president K. Laxman said that countdown of the TRS government has begun. “TRS has taken stock of situation after three years of coming to power when anger is building up. CM’s failure to speak at OU centenary celebrations indicates beginning of countdown for TRS government,” he said.
However, TRS MLA Srinivas Goud brushed aside the criticism saying that the Opposition was unable to digest the mega success of the public meeting and hence levelling baseless allegations.
