Thiruvananthapuram/ Kalpetta: Former internatioal cricketer and the BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram constituency, Mr S. Sreesanth during filing nomination papers on Thursday declared assets worth around Rs 7.37 crore. He stated in an affidavit that the movable assets in his spouse's name comes around Rs 82 lakh as against Rs 4.4 lakh he has on his own. Most of the movable assets in his wife’s name are in the form of 375 soverign gold ornaments.
He also has a Jaguar XJL car purchased in 2015 and shares worth Rs 74,000 with S36 Sports and Entertainment private limit. He has around 5.26 Are of residential premises at Edapally which is worth Rs 5.5 crore, the affidavit says. Sreesanth has passed Class XI from Bhavans Vidya Mandir, Kochi.
Kalpetta’s UDF candidate M.V. Shreyams Kumar has movable assets worth Rs 4,90,54,309.68 including deposits in ten banks, shares, debentures and mutual funds. His total income shown in the affidavit he filed along with his nomination is Rs 9,925,524.
It also includes a BMW car worth Rs 24,03,295. His wife Kavita has movable assets worth Rs 54, 42,468.94 while the movable assets of his four children worth more than Rs 90 lakh. The current value of his land and other properties are worth Rs 16,45,39, 375 and that of his wife is Rs 54,00,000.
He has liabilities of Rs 13,38,623 and his wife is Rs 2,69,99, 353. He owns 26.1 acre land in Krishnagiri village, apart from small landholdings in various parts of Wayanad, Varkala and in the Karnataka state (5700 square feet).
