BJP to release candidates list in April first week: Bommai
Belagavi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate list is expected to be released in the first week of April.
He told this to the reporters during his visit to Belagavi on Tuesday.
When asked about the fight for tickets among party members, Bommai acknowledged that it is a common occurrence in winning parties.
However, he also expressed anger against KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar for calling BJP MLAs and offering tickets.
“Over the past 2-3 days, our MLAs have been receiving phone calls from DK Shivakumar, assuring them of tickets from Congress. The Congress is desperate as they don't have appropriate candidates and are resorting to inviting our people. This shows the actual state of the Congress," he stated.
