Pawan Kalyan vows to restore Rayalaseema’s lost glory

People from Seema waiting for radical changes, says JS chief.

Nellore: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has promised to restore the lost glory of Rayalaseema region by ensuring comprehensive development and has also vowed to build the right force to counter factionism within a month after his party comes to power in the state.

The actor-turned-politician addressed a public meeting at Madanapalle in Chittoor district on Thursday, after holding an impressive road show, amidst mammoth party cadre and public.

Lamenting that the reputation of Rayalaseema has turned out to be a curse due to the Chief Ministers who got elected from here did nothing to develop the region, Mr Pawan Kalyan said the people from Raya-laseema, especially youth, are eagerly waiting to witness radical changes in the region.

“Rayalaseema has lagg-ed in development since many decades despite providing several CMs to the state. Jana Sena will bring an end to the role of corr-upt politicians and strives to restore the lost glory of this region by ensuring rapid growth in all the fronts,” he maintained.

Mr Pawan Kalyan further said that if his party enters the Assembly with majority of seats, it will change the face of Rayala-seema by ensuring lakhs of jobs to the unemployed youth, for tourism develo-pment and sufficient wat-er for irrigation in this region.

Blaming the politicians, former and current MLAs of various parties for ind-ulging in land grabbing in Rayalaseema, he alleged that land given to Army people was also occupied by the politicians.

He alleged that the situation will continue if the TD comes to power. “But Jana Sena will safeguard the Seema people from la-nd grabbers, extortionists, goons and especially factionists if voted to power in this election,” he added.

Lashing out at YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mr Pawan Kalyan alleged that it was Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy who made a secret pact with the BJP. “It was he who kept Telugu pride in host-age before Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, by falling at their feet,” he said.

“Jagan has many criminal cases under trial. If he becomes the next CM of the state, will the state go on progressive lines? What if the Central government digs up his cases again, while he chairs the CM post?” he asked.

Alleging that TD leaders are fully corrupt and that the CM has lost control over people’s representatives, Mr Pawan maintained that Jana Sena is the only party which can fight back goondaism of YSRC and its chief Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy.
