Jagan to distribute TIDCO houses by February end

VIJAYAWADA: Krishna district collector P. Ranjith Basha and Gudivada MLA Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao (Nani) on Saturday inspected the TIDCO housing complex at Mallayapalem near Gudivada.

They checked out the various infrastructure facilities, such as CC roads, drains, and ground-level service reservoirs, which are under construction. Ranjit Basha said 80 percent of works have been completed at the Gudivada TIDCO complex, the biggest layout in the state spread over 77 acres.

The collector estimated that the complex will be ready by February 15. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy can inaugurate the complex by February end and distribute the TIDCO houses to respective beneficiaries.

Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani emphasised that the CM is fulfilling the dream of poor people to own a house. Presently, 25,000 houses for poor are under construction, 9,000 of them in TIDCO housing complex and 7,000 in Jagananna layouts.
