Telugu Desam tangle resolved by panel
Guntur: The three-men committee appointed by the Telugu Desam high command conducted an inquiry with minister for social welfare R. Kishore Babu and Guntur ZP chairperson Sk Johny Moon in the TD NTR Bhavan at Guntur on Tuesday. Three committee members, Guntur TD incharge and home minister N. China Rajappa, TD state secretary G. Butchiah Chowdary and TD Guntur district president and MLA G.V. Anjaneyulu called Mr Kishore Babu and Ms Johny Moon into the TD office and collected their explanations. Mr Rajappa said that the simple differences between the minister and ZP chairperson have been resolved and alleged that the YSR Congress was trying to disturb the TD leaders.
Earlier on Sunday, the two leaders compromised with each other and conducted a joint press meet declaring to work in coordination shunning differences. But according to the TD sources, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu became serious over the expression of differences in the public damaging the party reputation and directed the three-men committee to submit a detailed report about the causes of the clash. Mr Kishore Babu and Ms Johny Moon attended the three-men committee meeting and gave their statements.
According to the reports, the two leaders stated about misunderstanding leading to the differences and clearing them on Sunday. The minister agreed about some negligence towards sanctioning of works and funds and assured about giving priority to the development works proposed by the ZP chairperson in his constituency.
Later speaking to the press, Mr Chinarajappa said that the differences between M. Kishore Babu and Ms Johny Moon are like disputes among family members and they were resolved. He alleged that YSR Congress leaders were trying to create differences among the TD leaders with bad political motivation of weakening the TD but the TD leaders will not fall in the YSRC trap. He alleged that YSRC leaders Botcha Satyana-rayana and Ambati Rambabu totally failed to protect their legislators from leaving the party and YSRC leaders were jealous about development of AP by the state government.
Mr Butchaiah Chow-dary and Mr Anjaneyulu said that the minster and ZP chairperson were working for the party like family members and there are no further differences. They added that the detailed inquiry report would be submitted to Mr Naidu.
