People skeptical of TD guarantees: Minister Buggana

Kurnool: Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath has criticised the TD's "Babu Surety- Bhavishyat Guarantee" programme, calling it a lie and likening it to the previous Telugu Desam initiatives like pasupu-kumkuma, interest-free loans and farmer loan waivers.

He asserted that the people of AP “don't believe in guarantees from those who fail to fulfil their promises.”

He said the public has faith in the YSRC government for delivering on its commitments.

Rajendranath inaugurated several development projects in Dhone constituency on Monday, including a road from Dhone to Krishnagiri, a village secretariat, a Rythu Bharosa Kendra, a village health clinic and more.

Rajendranath inaugurated the statue of Swami Vivekananda in Dhone town, marking the initiation of the lighting of lamps in the local municipality. He unveiled the pylon for the central lighting system, which was installed at a cost of '1.27 crore, spanning from Gooty Road Junction to Rural Police Station via Amma Hotel and Vivekananda statue.

During the event, some TD families from Tarakarama Nagar joined the YSRC. The minister welcomed them into the party. Zilla Parishad chairman Yerrabotula Papireddy, meat xorporation chairman Sriramulu, ZPTC members Raj Kumar, Dhone MPP Regati Rajasekhar Reddy, single window chairman Tirumal Reddy and former market yard chairman Ramachandrudu were present.
