Jagtial BJP candidate Boga Shravani tries to strike emotional connect with voters

Jagtial BJP MLA candidate Boga Shravani urged the voters to vote for her and save her life. If you don’t make me win, they will not let me live. It is in your hands, she said.

Shravani tried to strike an emotional connect with the voters and almost broke down at one moment.

She has been facing harassment from Jagtial MLA Sanjay following which she quit the party when she was the Jagtial municipal chairperson.

She appealed to the voters to consider her as daughter, sister and gift her support. She asked them to give her votes just as daughters are given some ‘odi biyyam’ (rice grains) and symbolically, she even spread the pallu of her saree before the voters.

She promised to develop Jagtial on par with other Smart Cities in the state. She reminded the voters that she was wronged on January 25 by Jagtial MLA and requested the voters to give her one chance to serve them by voting for her.

It is pertinent to note that Shravani had broke down while addressing the mediapersons in January too when she revealed that Sanjay had been showing high-handedness as she belongs to the BC community. “He is not able to bear the rising of a woman politician from the BC community.”
