Visakhapatnam: Former Gajuwaka MLA and Visakhapatnam district TD president Palla Srinivasa Rao alleged that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was making false promises through his ongoing bus yatra.
Addressing a press conference in the TD office in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, Srinivasa Rao said the CM was enriching the capitalists while exploiting the oppressed classes.
He said Jagan Mohan Reddy withdrew 120 welfare schemes and diluted another 27 schemes.
“Social justice cannot be achieved by mere bus yatras,’’ Srinivasa Rao told the reporters. It is a political move to mislead the people, he added.
The CM floated corporations, and without sanctioning any funds for establishing offices, he has been claiming that he did serve the backward communities by creating corporations for them.
GVMC floor leader Peela Srinivasa Rao, Telugu Mahila district president Sarvasiddhi Anantha Lakshmi, and other leaders were present.
