Probe by Central agency: YSRC

The YSRC leaders alleged that the TD has been trying to play down the incident and their leaders have been using foul and nauseating language.

Vijayawada: Reiterating the demand for a probe by a Central agency or a Judicial inquiry into the Vizag Airport assault case, YSR Congress has said that the harsh language being used by the Telugu Desam leadership on the incident shows their level of frustration and guilt.

Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, party spokespersons K. Parthasarathi and T.J.R. Sudhakar Babu said: “The language and tone used by the TD leadership, state minister and TD minister have been harsh and such words do not have any place in a democracy. They alleged that TD MP Kesineni Nani and state ministers Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy and others are trying to flare up the issue instead of condemning the incident which shows their level of frustration and guilt and the language used by them lack basic courtesy.”

The two YSRC leaders stated that the foul language used by the TD leaders reveal their way of upbringing and the situation they are in, as the TD has been facing backlash from all sides while their leader Jagan has been gaining popularity by leaps and bounds. The YSRC leaders stated that as they have no faith in the state investigation agency, headed by the DGP, who went on record hours after the incident with one-sided conclusions and the team that was formed to investigate the issue has to report to him, they have demanded for a third party probe to get a fair result.
