TRS keeps confusion alive

In TRS discussions, the party's leadership has indicated the preference for early elections to the assembly.

Hyderabad: TRS leaders including Ministers and MPs are making different and confusing statements on early elections to the assembly. In political circles, particularly in TRS discussions, the party’s leadership has indicated the preference for early elections to the assembly. But TRS leaders are making different statements on this.

TRS MP Sitaram Naik said “MP G Vinod Kumar is on this duty, we have given a letter to the central Election Commission requesting the possibilities of conducting elections to Telangana assembly in December along with four other states Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram. If the EC says okay we will go for early elections.”

Another TRS MP G Vinod Kumar said “ It is a fact that there are discussions about going for early elections within the party, but we did not take any decision”.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao also speaking on this subject with media said “Did we say that we are going for early elections to the assembly? The media will write something on this subject and again ask us. If the government takes a decision then we can answer every question.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in his recent media conference said on this subject “There are neither advance polls nor late polls, we are already in the “fray”. If we take a decision on dissolving the assembly, do you expect me to tell you before taking a decision; even my cabinet colleagues also did not know about this, how would you know?”
