Karimnagar police give clean chit to Akbaruddin Owaisi for his speech

Mr Owaisi had clarified that he had not said anything that was provocative.
Karimnagar: The speech delivered by MIM party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi at a meeting here on July 23 did not contain any words and comments which could provoke the people, Karimnagar police commissioner V.B. Kamalasan Reddy said on Saturday.
Mr Reddy’s statement comes against the backdrop of complaints lodged by BJP and Bajrang Dal leaders that Mr Owaisi had made a speech provoking the people and derogatory comments against one particular section of people.
Mr Owaisi had clarified that he had not said anything that was provocative.
Legal experts said there was nothing in the speech as alleged by the BJP party leaders and there is no scope of filing of any case against him, Mr Kamalasan Reddy said.
