Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwar said the government would soon convene a meeting of all the builders and developers to seek their opinion on the issue of the building ban to take a final call.  He also said that BBMP officials had  been asked to see if apartments had installed sewage treatment plants to serve their needs as required.

He confirmed in response to a question that the controversial steel bridge project had been shelved and the high court informed about it.

“But the DPR is being prepared for an elevated corridor from the Esteem Mall to Chalukya Circle. We will take the people's opinion before going ahead with the project,” he assured.  Dr Parameshwar later received a memorandum from representatives of KSRTC Staff and Workers Federation.
