Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed that the supervisor Grade II post in the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) shall be filled through promotion only.
The Chief Minister said only those who are qualified and experienced among the Anganwadi teachers are to be considered for promoting as supervisors.
KCR, after discussing with women development and child welfare minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and principal secretary Shanti Kumari and others, has taken this decision in Pragathi Bhavan on Sunday afternoon before the Cabinet meeting commenced.
KCR said that to make better use of the experience of Anganwadi teachers in the maintenance of Anganwadi centers this decision has been taken.
