Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao to meet DMK leaders, Akhilesh Yadav
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi supremo and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said on Friday that he will “cause an earthquake in Delhi, with Hyderabad as the epicentre”, by floating a Federal Front to end the dominance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress in national politics for the past 70 years.
He added that he would meet Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leaders this month and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who is to visit Hyderabad on May 2.
“The front will release an action plan soon about how it will irrigate 40 crore acres of agricultural land in the country by maximising the potential of the 70,000 TMCs available in India,” he added.
Pointing to the fact that he spearheaded the move to create Telangana, which was considered next to impossible, he said the federal front will be achieved with the same spirit.
“I will spread the fragrance of ‘gulabi’ (the pink rose symbolising TRS) across the country and liberate India from the shackles of Congress and BJP,” Rao added.
