Winds of change blowing in Telangana, says Bandi

Bandi said the Praja Sangram Yatra's second phase would continue between December 17 and 20

HYDERABAD: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay lashed out at Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for spreading canards and falsehoods against the Modi government and said people were wary of his machinations and were ready to show him the door be it in 2022 or 2023 whenever elections were held.

Taking pot shots at Chandrashekar Rao, he said without seeking the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chandrashekar Rao was giving a spin that he was denied appointment by Modi which was far beyond the truth. He announced that the BJP government if installed in Telangana would provide free health and education to the deserving poor.

Addressing the national executive meeting of the party on Saturday, Sanjay said he was informed by astrologers that "good days were ahead of Telangana people”. “Winds of change are blowing fiercely in favour of the BJP in Telangana," he said, adding that all was not well in Chandrashekar Rao’s home front as there was a fight for the top seat in their family. He said the Praja Sangram Yatra’s second phase would continue between December 17 and 20.

The success of Praja Sangram Yatra had sent shivers to Chandrashekar Rao that forced him to come out of his hideout and hurriedly announce programmes to be with the people, Sanjay reminded.

Calling activists to join the BJP as it was the right platform for fulfilling their aspirations, he said the party activists were on the forefront supporting farmers in realising paddy procurement price but were attacked by the ruling party supporters. He reminded that Modi increased paddy support price from Rs 1,310 to Rs 1,960.

Sanjay drew attention to the plight of unemployed in the state and blamed the Telangana Rashtra Samiti government that there was no new recruitment notification, employees downsized and thousands of field assistants, Vidya volunteers, health workers and scavengers were thrown to the road.

On the tribal reservations, Sanjay said by linking religion to tribal reservations, the Chief Minister was trying to bring disrepute to the Modi government at the Centre.
