TD leaders looting banks, says BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao

Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumarasamy had said that Mr Rao had advised him to join the Congress.

Hyderabad: BJP MP G.V.L. Narasimha Rao alleged that Telugu Desam leaders in AP were “looting” banks and claimed that the TRS and the Mahakutami would join hands after the state elections.

Speaking to mediapersons at the BJP state headquarters on Monday, Mr Rao said, “In the name of several companies, Mr Chowdary has committed a fraud of Rs 5,700 crore and this is a common thing. I’m surprised with the statements of the former Union minister Chowdary. Now there are many Mallyas in Andhra Pradesh.” He said that Mr Chowdary had given thousands of crores to his companies. He said that the Congress and Telugu Desam had again prepared themselves to cheat the people of AP in the name of special category status.

“All political parties here belong to the same nest and can join hands anytime to take on the BJP. Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumarasamy had said that Mr Rao had advised him to join the Congress. This shows how close they are.”
