Pinarayi Vijayan fails to walk the talk

CM had posted on Facebook on March 8, 2017 that his government will not put up with sexual abuse on children at any cost.

Thrissur: The assurance given by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Walayar rape case in 2017 has gone in vain.

A few days after the death of the younger sister, the CM had posted on Facebook on March 8, 2017 that his government will not put up with sexual abuse on children at any cost.

“Whoever may be the culprits in the death of minor sisters in Walayar they will be taken into task and not allowed to walk free. They will be definitely brought before law and given severe punishment,” the Chief Minister had noted in the post.

The post also says police will take stringent action against child abusers and give everything possible will be done to get them maximum punishment.
