BJP: Huzurnagar rally deceptive

Mr Krishna Saagar Rao said the TRS government in six years has not given funds to any gram panchayat.

Hyderabad: Telangan state BJP spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao said that the Huzurnagar public rally of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was not a “gratitude rally” but a “deception rally” as he made many promises which he would never deliver.

Mr Krishna Saagar Rao said the TRS government in six years has not given funds to any gram panchayat.

“Today KCR promised `20 lakh to each village and `30 lakh to each mandal in Huzurnagar. How should anyone believe these shallow promises,” he asked. If Huzurnagar was not developed, he asked, wasn’t the Chief Minister responsible as the TRS was in power for six years.

BJP MLC N. Ramchan-der Rao said Mr Chandra-sekhar Rao’s promise to give funds was hollow. “If he really releases the funds, how can he indulge in partiality? Funds for development should be released for every village in the state,” he said.

He claimed Mr Chan-drasekhar Rao had failed to fulfil his earlier promises of providing double bedroom houses to the poor, drinking water to every household and had not looked after farmer welfare.

BJP leader Rakesh Reddy said that the Chief Minister has misled the people and played with their sentiments and trust.

“He makes big promises but closes the door of the camp office when people come to meet him and ask about his promises,” Mr Rakesh Reddy said.
