N Chandrababu Naidu has fixed deal for 2 Cabinet posts: T Harish Rao
Hyderabad: Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao on Friday alleged that TD president and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had struck a deal with the Congress for two key Cabinet berths for the TD if the Prajakutami came to power.
Mr Harish Rao claimed that he had credible information about Mr Naidu seeking the irrigation portfolio to weaken Telangana’s claim on Krishna and Godavari waters and home portfolio to escape from the cash-for-vote case.
“The TRS had chased the TD away from Telangana as it is an Andhra party. But the Congress is now trying to bring back TD into Telangana in the name of Prajakutami. Telangana Congress leaders have completely surrendered to Mr Chandrababu after he offered them huge money and helicopters to take up the campaign,” Mr Harish Rao said.
“They are forgetting that Telangana will once again be in the clutches of Andhra rulers, if Prajakutami gets power. Mr Chandrababu once again wants to do injustice to Telangana in the allocation of water share in Krishna and Godava-ri,” Mr Harish Rao said.
