Karnataka:Congress Seeks Unwavering Support From Minority Community

Ballari: Gearing up for the forthcoming Parliament election, Housing and Minorities Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan called on the minority community to lend unwavering support to the Congress.

Speaking after inspecting the progress of the Shaadi Mahal construction at Chapparada village in Sandur, Khan stressed the importance of the upcoming Parliament Election and encouraged the minority community to mirror their steadfast support during local assembly elections.

He cautioned against neglecting the duty to vote, pointing out that every uncast vote is an indirect gain for the BJP.

Khan firmly asserted that the nation's stability and peace depend on the Congress taking the reins of power. He highlighted Congress's track record of formulating development plans with the people's interests at the forefront.

Khan commended the Siddaramaiah-led state government for fulfilling its commitments, particularly the guarantee scheme, which has greatly benefited numerous families.
"To expedite the Shaadi Mahal's construction, we will disburse Rs 50 lakhs in two installments. Should proposals be submitted for the development of eleven mosques, the Wakf Board stands ready to provide financial assistance," he said.

"The Directorate of Minorities Welfare and Minorities Development Corporation offer various educational and self-employment schemes; it is imperative that the community avails itself of these opportunities," he added.
