Bandi Sanjay lambasts KCR, KTR

How can the state government expect national status for Palamuru Rangareddy project

Hyderabad: “Having given nine lakh crores to Telangana, why should Prime Minister Narendra Modi not come to Telangana? Why did the BRS not fulfil its promises? Are you ready for a discussion on what both the parties have done to Telangana? I will take the onus of bringing our state party president G. Kishan Reddy for a discussion at the Bhagyalakshmi temple. Are you ready for a debate?” former state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday asked minister K.T. Rama Rao.

Addressing the media after paying homage to Konda Lakshman Bapuji on his birth anniversary, he said, “But for being the son of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao what is your standing? Modi and Kishan Reddy have made a mark in politics on their own. You insulted the Telangana statehood movement. Having fought against the Nizam, Lakshman Bapuji endeared himself to those engaged in the handloom sector and people from various handicrafts. He started the Citizen Protection Committee and fought for civil rights.”

“It was your father KCR who cheated Palamuru district after announcing that he is adopting it. It was me who exposed the relentless migration that continues to Mumbai and Surat after his claim that they have stopped. KCR is the one who failed to secure 575 TMC water for Telangana having compromised with AP and settled for 299 TMC water. How can the state government expect national status for Palamuru Rangareddy project without submitting DPR (detailed project report). The project was launched with much fanfare recently with one motor and it was claimed that it would irrigate 10 lakh acres”, the senior BJP leader said.

“Why did KCR take six lakh crores of debt and what was done with the amount? You failed to deliver on jobs for youth”, he said referring to KCR adding he has no right to step out of Pragathi Bhavan.
