‘HD Kumaraswamy continuing as CM not good for state’

Mr Ravi also said that the BDA had cheated him of his site.

Bengaluru: Soon after Chief Minister Mr H.D. Kumaraswamy was involved in a faceoff with agitating employees of the Yeramaras Thermal Power Station (YTPS), BJP General Secretary Mr C.T. Ravi said Mr Kumaraswamy was behaving like a CM of the JD(S) and not CM of the state and added that his continuation as CM will not be good for either him or the state’s health.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Mr Ravi said that Mr Kumaraswamy was not in good health and his father Mr H.D. Deve Gowda should advise him in this regard. Referring to the CM’s retort to the employees that they voted for PM Modi and now wanted him to solve their problems, the BJP leader said this raises the question whether Mr Kumaraswamy responds to the problems of only voters who backed him.

Mr Ravi also said that the BDA had cheated him of his site. In 2006, he was allotted a 50x80 site in HRBR Layout and had sought an alternate site in 2016.
However, the site was re-allotted to another woman called Ms Shakuntala Devi and she sold it to another person. Now, the third owner is digging a borewell in that site, Mr Ravi added.
