Former TRS MLA K S Ratnam to join Congress

Hyderabad: An ex-MLA K.S. Ratnam, who resigned the TRS, has has decided to join the Congress on September 27 at Gandhi Bhavan, Hyderabad. Mr Ratnam on Tuesday visited the Gandhi Bhavan to have a look at the arrangements before the joining.

The ex-MLA belongs to Chevella constituency in Ranga Reddy district. He was expecting a ticket from the TRS while the party denied him the ticket and offered it to the sitting MLA from the same party Kale Yadiah. Mr Ratnam had earlier thought of contesting in the elections as an independent but he later decided to join the Congress.
